Six years ago, we launched Visit West Point & King William (WPKW) as a tourism initiative to celebrate and share all the things that make our region special. Since then, it has grown into something truly meaningful — a way to showcase our community, our stories, and the amazing places that make visitors fall in love with our corner of Virginia. Today, we’re excited to unveil our new logo — a design that reflects our unique beauty, history, and character.

Located in the heart of West Point, Wild Daisy Books is a cozy independent bookstore that feels like a destination all its own. Opened in January 2026, the shop grew from owner Holly’s long-held dream of creating a warm, welcoming space where visitors and locals can slow down and browse. Thoughtfully designed and full of charm, it captures the authentic small-town character travelers love to discover while exploring Virginia.
